Heather has been with Xontogeny since inception in support of building out the foundation for how the company engages with entrepreneurs and scientific founders. In her role as Associate, Heather interfaces with companies seeking Xontogeny partnership, collaboration, or investment by managing the due diligence process and communications with external parties. Heather’s responsibilities include constructing program activities and evaluation of the appropriate service providers for optimal preclinical and clinical development, along with assessing the landscape of competitive technologies across a variety of disease areas.
Prior to joining Xontogeny, Heather interned at Sarepta Therapeutics in support of the eteplirsen (Exondys51) FDA advisory committee hearing. In 2016, Heather completed her MBS degree at the Keck Graduate Institute, a specialized program geared for the biopharmaceutical industry. She also sits on the young professional’s Executive Committee of The Genesis Foundation, a non-profit that provides coordinated care to patients with rare and genetic diseases.
